Ventura Foods celebrated innovation, craftsmanship, originality—and great food—at the 2015 Spirit of Innovation Awards!
Ventura Foods has been the proud sponsor of these awards for more than 10 years. Part of the Prepared Foods New Products Conference—held in September in Palm Beach, Florida—the awards recognize product development teams for excellence in creating an innovative product. Winners are acknowledged for each step of the process: from ideation and development to design, creation and launch.
This year’s winners ranged from Hummus Plus to Dreamin’ of Chocolate to Crispy M&Ms and Jambalaya Fritters! All the honorees, though, share a passion and commitment to craftsmanship, improvement, originality—and the quest to create a breakthrough, revolutionary product.
“At Ventura Foods, we believe in this ideal and strive for it every day, too,” said Don Meyer, VP Ingredient Division, in his presentation at the awards. “We believe that recognizing and awarding these individuals is key to success. We not only want to be a part of it, we want to help lay the foundation for it across our Industry”.
